Bakugan! I remember waking up every Friday at 5 am just to watch that show. I was never a morning person, but I did not care as long as I had my weekly dose of Bakugan. I Also was addicted to Bey Blade and Crush Gear, but I couldn't really watch a lot of their shows since I didn't know the time slot.

Ranma 1/2, which was the first anime I ever completely watched through when I was a kid. It had a huge impact on my fascination with martial arts back then, and I just loved it for its ROM-COM, and overall wackiness.

Dragonball Z, of course. Then, when Toonami started showing more series, I really got into Outlaw Star, G Gundam, and Mobile Suit Gundam: 08th MS Team. Then when I was in middle school, I discovered Slayers, and that was my favorite anime for over a decade. Then Fate/Zero aired. That was 4 years ago. And now, here we are 18 years later.

This glorious signature image was created by @Mayumi!

I am the Arbiter of Absolute Truth, and here is my wisdom:

"Anime was always influenced by the West. This is not news.
Shoujo is the superior genre primarily aimed at young people.
Harem/isekai are lazy genres that refuse any meaningful innovation.
There is no 'Golden Age.' There will always be top-shelf anime.
You should be watching Carole & Tuesday."

Well, I'm old (29) and a girl so it's a toss up between Cardcaptor Sakura and Sailor Moon.

Beyblade is probably the only anime I loved as kid. Though I watched DBZ/Pokemon and some others too which aired on TV.
