Related to original series or "Boukoku no Akito" ?

Hello guys.. just wanted to know if this picture drama is related to the original series or to the new series "Boukoku no Akito" ? is it OK to watch it before "Akito" ?

Well, Code Geass: Akito the Exiled takes place between Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, but it came out long after both of them. Code Geass: Oz the Reflection both takes place and came out at the same time as Akito the Exiled, but, as far as I know, is completely unrelated.
