Ok so I watched Steins;Gate long ago so I may not remember everything, but I know I liked it a lot and I did not found a single plot hole at the time. Now I found one, or at least I think.

Ok, so people always die because of the attractor field in the same timeline, so the only way to make that person live is to change timeline. But then, how come Feyris's Father's death could be prevented by a single Dmail which did not change the timeline?

I hope I'm wrong, because this anime does things perfectly and such a big plot hole is impossible.

Rating things is overrated.

Last time I checked, because Faris's dad death was prevented, Akihabara changed completely.

I know, but changing Akihabara didn't change the timeline enough to prevent a death. They were still in the Alpha timeline.

Rating things is overrated.

Not all deaths are necessary to keep happening in a timeline.What is important with Ferris' Father is where the IBN ends up and how.It is the same why Kurisu CAN be saved in the end of the series,her death isnt necessary.

For Mayuri it was necessary for her to die for SERN's plan to continue.
