| Excel Saga. If you think about it, Excel Saga would probably belong in the spam section in an Anime DVD store, and that's why i love the show so much. Anybody who enjoys insane main characters, constant death, crazy gags, hot female robots, pointless side plots and the fact that no main plot really started until the final 5 episodes will have loved this anime. And yes, we can talk about that final episode. What was it again? "Going too Far!?" Yeah, it did go too far. The episode was 1 minute longer then it was supposed to be...oh, and the violence and nudity if were going on about the serious issues. |

| Excel Saga is great. I actually have the whole series on DVD. It had everything. I loved the hot Excel and Roppanmatsu yuri action. If you want a plot, read the manga versoin it has some of that there. |

| i dont think Excel Saga went too far. But thats probably because I've seen a lot of anime and that level of nudity/violence is not that big a deal |

| I see. I guess Hentai take it too far nudity wise, and Violence...wait, nothings wrong with violence! I liked the first half of the episode with all the violence. The love hotel thing was quite weird. But that translator got what she deserved in the ending theme. Also, another thing came into my head. Excel Saga has one of the best OP's ever! |

| Excel Saga was one of the greatest comedies ever. I also have the first volume I think its a little better than which have happened in the anime. Next month Im going to buy the 2 volume. |

| Yeah, i bought Volume 1 and 2 of Excel Saga! Volume two was espeically kickass with Matsuya's entrance. What volume does Elgala come in? I think it's Volume 9, but i might be completely wrong. |

| It was probably the wackiest show I've seen so far. Really funny, but not sure it gets a place among my top 3 comedies (with Seto no Hanayome being first, Hayate no Gotoku second.. and..)..well, maybe it gets 3rd place, but I'll have to think about that. I watched the dubbed version because I love the added pointless swearing, but sometimes I only got half of what Excel said because of the jabber, so I had to rewatch those scenes. Still, a pretty decent dub. As for Going too far, I don't think they went too far. Or too much further. Blood, gore, violence and even pedophilia was already themes from the show. They only pumped up the levels a bit and added some nudity. No big deal. Because the second half got sometimes a bit dragged and lost its..randomness a bit, plus because of the review episodes, I'll give it 8/10. "Taste divine retribution!" |
