| probably not. not many people liked it, i'm not talking about only on MAL, but in general. it had much potential to be a better anime, the game is awesome!! the anime could have included some other characters of the game, specially vergil and nero and lucia. so yeah, i don't think there will be a second season. and i do agree with you when you said the episodes should be longer, like i said before, the game is great, it would be nice if the anime had more references to the game |

It's a shame, because the franchise does have a lot of potential. It was never going to have much of a plot, but if they could've captured that fast-paced action and great sense of style that the games are so famous for, they could've had something pretty awesome on their hands. |

| I wouldn't mind another completly stand alone DMC that didn't suck. But no sequel as it would then be related to the first and that would be unfortunate, and seriously inhibit my ability to watch it (because the show was horrid and could have been much better, especially if it was simply an anime of the games). |
| I would suggest Nero be the main character in a follow up, but I seem to be part of a minority that actually likes him |

| I would like to know how Nero received the Devil Bringer. I was waiting to find that out all throughout DMC 4 and never got the answer. Maybe it will be covered in DMC 5.... I wonder how many people do like Nero. I only know of Myself and a friend that like him |

| Main flaw with the series was the lack of a respectable villain. Someone along the lines of Vergil. Oh, and an opponent that actually CHALLENGES Dante. Like seriously, even the last boss in this anime got defeated by one friggin sword swing! |

| I'd rather like something like 1 year before DMC3 (since Dante pinpointed to us that he hadn't met Vergil again since a year ago, maybe they were fighting demons together till something corrupted Vergil? Only hypothesis though) or REAL ACTION. The short fighting cutscenes in DMC3 were choreographed really well and done in grand fashion but what the game graphics did, the anime could not live up to because of its rather poor animation and poor storyline and also, VERY POOR fights. Let me summarize a fight for you: Demon: GAURRRRGH I GNA KILL U! Dante shoots Demon: AAAAGH IT HURTS Now that is a fight. You've gotta be shitting me. I would only come back for the 2nd season if it has Reuben Langdon voicing Dante, any other original voice actor getting back their roles (e.g Johnny Young-Bosch for Nero, Dan Southworth for Vergil, etc) and awesome action. I don't care for the plot since all the whole DMC series have been trying to do, in a failed or a successful manner, was to re-capture our imagination of downright coolness and awesome action in epic style. |

AND 2ND SEASON! and censore it for stupid kids who won't get this anime and rate it low cause of their dissatisfaction. this anime was mindblowing badass thing in every way!! it's a waste such small number of people got to enjoy this show.. it desreves much more T.T kids just should go watch shounen anime and stop making low ranking on such awesome anime. |
