| You really make it sound like it's a bad thing, sure it's not considered popular by others, but normally people won't really go at JUST because you like anime, if they do, then that is a personal, it's not because of anime, that's just an excuse, it all depends if the said person is an easy target to begin with. I went through high school not hiding my love of anime, I didn't exactly scream to everyone that I loved anime, but I was not afraid of having discussions about anime in front of other people, and many did not mind it. It's all about character. Except for parents, they were raised in a more closed generation, therefore they find it a bit distasteful, but if you posses a strong character, it fades. |

| Well, my family and friends already know. Some of my friends love anime, some don't. I still force the ones that don't to watch anime when I invite them over, though. XD My family actually likes anime and we spend time every Saturday watching SAO and Kuroko no Basket together. My parents are awesome and read manga, too. We've watched D. Gray-Man, FMAB, Code Geass, CLANNAD,Death Note, and a bunch of toher shows together. It's awesome. XD They don't like to watch it in sub very often, but they get over it. XD |
