| I just recently watched this and Everything about Erin just blew me away from her progression to she very atypical for an anime character. I loved how they used time skips to flesh her out and we get to see her grow up and learn from the past. I'm not looking for anything specific plot wise, just something that is able to flesh out a character like Erin who has traits like is competent, not another Shinji (NGE), learns from life instead of some overnight revelation, not another Shinji, and someone you can get into in general. Oh and nothing like Shinji. The use of good time skips would be a nice bonus where I watch the character grow up. | God. This is hard. ... ... Rose of Versailles - if you don't mind shoujo The Twelve Kingdoms - Youko may be somewhat annoying at first, but she grows a lot throughout the series. Monster - great characters that act like real people. Cast is made mostly of adults though. Millennium Actress - a famous actress reminisces about her life. |
