Just imagine her as an old granny and her mannierism and speech would fit perfectly with that archetype. Even her stoic attitude in front of everything fits an old person.

Being cynical is acting contrary to ones believes so she isn't cynical.

Oh come on... you should get what I'm trying to say.

My english grammar isn't perfect.

Being a cynical person is, basically, saying "I hate tomatoes, they are bd for your health" and without letting abyone know you eat tomatoes. you say one thing but when it's convinient for you, you act contrary to what you stated beforehand.

I'm not saying she's a granny. But she certainly acts like an old person... in terms of maturity and mannierism.

That's hypocritical, not cynical.

Yeah, you are right on that note.

BTW... I looked for the meaning of being cynical in english and I've found that it has another meaning that it isn't on the spanish language.

Guess you learn something everyday.

People are always going to find something to complain about, huh?

At least she actually acts different aside from all the crazy/useless/stupid pink-haired girls out there.

Modern cynicism (assuming we're not talking about the Greek school of cynicism) is a philosophy in which one does not trust and put hope in humanity. Humans, to them, are moved by greed. A huge dose of skepticism and realistic criticism is in play.

I know this because I'm a cynic as well. LolitaDecay is using the wrong word which is supposed to be the definition of, as Kyoko said, being hypocritical.

The protagonist of Jintai is a cynic, or at the very least a strong skeptic. Which is why she is my waifu.
I work in VNs. Sometimes, they have h-scenes and I go "waai~". I also like to not write at Oppai is Justice, a blog with great urls.

If by 'like an old woman' you mean 'in an astute, refreshingly cynical manner and unlike at least 95%* of heroines in anime', then yes, I agree wholeheartedly.

And that's why we like her, don't we?
OBJECTION!
Remember the episode where she was actually "greeted" by old ladies from the country? She weren't quite happy with their manner of speech.
