| Modern cynicism (assuming we're not talking about the Greek school of cynicism) is a philosophy in which one does not trust and put hope in humanity. Humans, to them, are moved by greed. A huge dose of skepticism and realistic criticism is in play. I know this because I'm a cynic as well. LolitaDecay is using the wrong word which is supposed to be the definition of, as Kyoko said, being hypocritical. The protagonist of Jintai is a cynic, or at the very least a strong skeptic. Which is why she is my waifu. |
