| Rewatching it in blu-ray quality was pretty good. There were quite a few parts I forgot probably because it's been 5 years since I last watched the movie. |

| Hmm I just had a look at a 720 upload on [an unnamed anime streaming service] - while it certainly looks sharper, the colours are much more drab than on my (UK) 10th Anniversary DVD, and even things like the shines on blades don't shine so brightly. Bit surprised by this; you can even see more detail in things like leaves / backgrounds on the older DVD, which are darker, less defined and with less colour in the new version. Anyone with both BD and older DVD version able to compare? (One review had what I thought were screencaps that looked great, but on closer inspection they weren't actually, as you could see the unfinished art at the edges) These screencaps seem to be just as drab and murky though http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Ninja-Scroll-Blu-ray/55320//#Screenshots |

| The blu-ray is superior in every way. You must have had a bad download or something. Screenshot comparisons are long gone from the DVD, as they have been removed from my source, and I have no desire to re-compare. You also just replied to a thread that is 4 years old. I hardly watch anime anymore. |

| This is strange, I would need to see a proper comparison with scaled resolution to the BD, try using this tool: http://screenshotcomparison.com/ I had no idea I was even subscribed to receive e-mails from this. Jeez. |

| ps the DVD also has Japanese & English 6.1 DTS, 5.1 and 2.0 options which is more than the Blu-ray... |
