| welp i posted this on another forum,but might as well post this here also; Well I only have about 8 months of "experience" in making signatures and working with Photoshop so don't expect too much! Signatures I am more fond to making would be anime-related as I am no too good with real life/maplestory related signatures. I did have more siggys but it's on my other computer which got restored so... :c I will be updating this thread/post whenever I have the chance to. Feel free to C&C as I want to learn how to get better! Older signatures I made will be in the spoiler below.  6/25/12 ~ Made a new signature for Cici(Cici), b-because.. she allowed me t...to have a f-fun time with her... last night... Whenever I see this I just want to use it for myself... b-but... cici m-might hurt me again... s-she does that e-enough in b-bed...  6/26/12 ~ Made a new signature for GrannyHunter(Gerrit) 6/29/12 ~ I'm currently doing some practice until July 14th so I will not be doing any request(s).    6/29/12 ~ Signature 1 (3:27PM EST): Improved Saber signature, I think it looks better! :) Signature 2 (4:07PM EST): Slowly improving on adding text! Signature 3 (4:48PM EST): Wow.. I'm improving dramatically each time! Also, I just realized it usually takes me 40minutes to make a signature! hehe... Edit (4:56PM EST): That's all I'm making for today will be practicing some more tomorrow!  6/30/12 ~ Told Jacky I'd make a new one for her, and here it is!  7/12/12 ~ A friend of mine made a signature for me so I decided to make one for him as well. (I read the advice(s) given and did my best on improving- I believe I did a good job)  =/=  7/13/12 ~ Made new signature for Davis since the old one I made him was... horrifying.   Signature 1) 7/19/12 ~ Made a signature for my wifey Soojin(Amy). Signature 2) 7/19/12 ~ Made a signature for Roman. Status: Not accepting any request(s)! |

| Hm, far better than the shit that usually gets posted in these kind of threads. Nice surprise, thanks for that. Three things on which you should improve, one you already realized. Flow, colors and text placement. The thing you do with the text is nice (might get boring after a while though), but positioning it in the sig could slightly improve. You ARE getting much better though. Your usage of colors is already getting better, but i'm not sure how much of that is conscious. Using too many colors or ones that don't match usually results in rainbow puke. Like here: Here it's still not good: Here you nailed it: Flow. Your sigs don't have flow. The lines, shapes in your work go in all sorts of random directions. Read some tutorials on flow if you don't know what I mean. If I ignore the ones in the spoiler tag, I'd say the touhou is your best work and the kamina is your worst (mostly because of the colors). But you're lighting is high level (like on the Cici sig), and you are semi pro already in general. Good work, keep it up. I'll take the flow tutorials into consideration, and I'll most likely enter the GFX challenges for the fun of it and to help myself improve! :) |
