I also don't tend to actively look for anime news so I do not know if ANN has had a history of occasionally misreporting information. I will keep what you said in mind about ANN next time I read something on their site if I can't find another site independently reporting similar news. I think your word of caution was somewhat reasonable since I went back and saw that no other site (at least among the American ones) was reporting it independently without citing ANN. With that being said there has thankfully been a JP source found showing a scan of a page about Natsume season 5, http://otakomu.jp/archives/363516.html . They have also already proceeded to add the MAL page for it as well http://myanimelist.net/anime/32983/ . Yea I know. I've been liaising with the news mods on this too but it's always good to not take their words as it is. Well, letting my hatred for the site aside(since I never visited their site again), it's always good to cross-check sources. Good to know you got my point. |
