Hey there. I just finished Fate/Zero. I'm wondering, should i wait for the second part of Fate/Zero before watching Fate/stay night, or is there no real connection between the two?

IMO you should have watched Stay Night before Zero (as it aired before), I don't remember Stay Night too well, but I think that if if you watch all of Zero you'll spoil some stuff in it...

Since you've started with Fate/Zero already you might as well wait for season two and complete it before watching Fate/stay night. If you watch F/SN now you'll spoil who lives and dies and the ending of F/Z. Well, no matter what you watch first you'll spoil the other one.

Thanks for the replies :), I guess was wrong assuming the series were directly chronological?
Does the end of Fate/Zero directly link to Fate/SN? Or is there some kind of time gap?

True, but as Zero came later couldn't you say that it's "meant" to be spoiled?

Ten-years time gap.

Well it does connect to the FSN visual novel, since Fate Zero is the prequel to the FSN VN. I think it would be a waste to watch the FSN anime before watching the second half of Zero. The FSN anime is a really bad way to spoil the end of Zero, since it's not that good to begin with.

Normally, yes. But in this case he's already watched half of F/Z so he might as well finish it before watching/playing the sequel.

Don't watch FSN. The anime is all kind of awful, and has little to do with FZ. You'll probably be confused.

Play the VN. The last route (Heaven's Feel) the one that isn't animated, is the one that closes the plotlines laid by FZ (or rather FZ plot details is mostly taken from that one).

It isn't exactly the best conclusion to the King of Knights though, sadly.
