Just curious what everybody will say their favorite restaurant is.

Mine's a Japanese all you can eat seafood restaurant buffet. It has cooked food from Teriyaki to Ribs to crabs, to tempura, to different types of fish, lobster, crawfish, shrimp and so much more. And that just some of the heated food. They also got a sushi/sashimi side and so many different good tasting dishes, and then the dessert area is fulfilling with different types of cheesecake to cookies to brownies, pies and ice cream (ya gotta try the green tea ice cream). And then there are different drinks from sodas to smoothies and domestic beer to sake. It has everything that I find great tasting.

I think you can google them to see their menu and locations. It is $30 per person for dinner (children is cheaper) and something like $15 for lunch. Of course, dinner has more entrees and desserts. I actually plan on going again, only thing is that is about an hour drive for me just to get there.

Please let me know about other good or great restaurants.

there's a place called Fuji's in Jonesboro, Arkansas that we like to go to when we visit some friends. It's a Japanese steakhouse, where they cook the food right in front of you. The show is always good :p

This ramen place that I dont even know the name of- its open really late, they serve you really fast and get you out fast(I dont like sitting around at a restaurant but I know this would be a negative point for some people), and has really very good ramen.

Well if I want something Cajun or French, I go to MiMi's in it's in the area. It's a chain restaurant. Since I've moved to NJ, there's so many more privately owned restaurants that have better food, I don't go to many chain places anymore.

There's a good sushi place in Princeton called Sakura Express run by two brothers that I like. 2 rolls and a salad for $8.00. I love it. :)

Damn, haven't been to Applebee's in ages. Last time I went I think they tried to kill me or something.

I don't really like sitting around for an hour, so I don't go to restaurants much, but Cracker Barrel is pretty good.

OH. I can't believe I forgot about this place:

Nothing But Noodles.

Godly macaroni and cheese.

A place to hang out with friends after work: Buffalo Wild Wings
A casual place: Dakota's Steakhouse
A change of pace: East Side (German food and beer, and a great atmosphere)
A place for special occasions: Carmon Anthony's

I always loved my local pizza place and chinese restaurant. Everyone probably says this about their local ones, but they were the best I've had. I also like Applebee's. Now I guess I enjoy family restuarents like Jonathon's and gyudon places like sukiya.

There's this restaurant back on Long Island. We'd go there on special occasions. It was far, but it was always rewarding. They had a lot of choices when it came to sushi and there was even one with kiwi. Their ice cream selections were also sweet from the green tea ice cream to the ginger ice cream. My favorite HAS to be the ginger ice cream...it tasted a lot like ginger cookies. I miss that place and I haven't had much sushi in California yet.

That place sounds good. The only regret I have in making this thread, is that every time I read more and more posts, I get hungry..lol. I'd like to go to all these places to taste some of their delicious entrees.

There's a nice buffet restaurant 5 minutes away from my house, by car. ~$14 for lunch, and the food is actually quite good, not salt ridden like other buffet places.

There's also a fairly nice sushi buffet in the city, ~$13 for lunch, otherwise i'll just grab some fast food if i'm by myself. I don't like eating in a restaurant by myself. :S

Do Fast Food restaurants count?

If so, then any will do lol.

As for a real restaurant, I guess Denny's or IHOP or Jaspers :D.

The Cheesecake Factoryyyyyyy...*drools*

They cook everything from pasta to ribs to Chinese even. They have over 30 cheesecakes to choose from, and my goal is to try all of them (except for Pumpkin Pecan. I hate pumpkin). Oh, and their menus are so big that it's like reading a novel! It's a little pricey, but it's worth it.

Oh, and their strawberry lemonade is TO DIE FOR!

I forgot what the name was called but oh god, they're food made me feel like I died and gone to heaven- which means a lot coming from me, considering my only other died and gone to heaven time was when i had my first encounter with fluffy socks.
I know it was a Pennsylvania restaurant with superb service, dark lighting, and the most devilishly delicious boneless ribs ever. Gosh, i'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
