Hey all, i am a newbie and would like to say HEY!!! I'm cheyenne but you can call me Xena* my middle name, loove it!!* ^O^
I LOOOVE ANIME and drawing anime <3 I have to say anime is soooo cool because there is all different types and styles
*anyways i watching bleach and reading 1/2 prince!!!! Amazing manga btw and bleach is sweet too!
* also if there is any favorites of yours (manga or anime) would you mind sharing >.<
* and if it isn't to much trouble, any ideas of what to draw???
-just something random
-or i have a friend that i promised i would draw something for, she really likes the steampunk style and she is somewhat dark and dreary, but also very fun to be around :) any suggestions??
- if you like, if you make a charcater description i would love to draw it for you *.*
OMGosh i am soooo sorry for making this so long W////W I hope you stayed and read to the end, I would love new friends that adore anime like moi ^^ So totally add me if ya wish ^O^

^O^ hahahha I am most of the time :) but today when i went to work there was probally a thousand or so problems in the first 4-5 hours and the manager always ditching >.< sooo annoying!!! And when i got home i was trying to relax and draw but then my sister dragged me out to dance, and karaoke. Although the dancing and karaoke was fun, I was getting even more tired because i was up most of the night last night babysitting my brothers and sister, and waiting for my parents to get home. Didn't go to bed until 12 or so and then got up at three, Uhhh!! I ussually wake up early anyways but i was sooo tired ^.^ Hehehe and there a go ranboling (spelt that wrong, sorry) again... >.< btw THANKS!! Ibelieve i will have fun talking to people on here about anime and random stuff.... ^^

Hello Xena!

I used to draw alot when I was in high school (college took my hobby :D), not from anime, but from books. I had this one crazed sketch of Smith from the end of "1984". Anyway, if your friend likes steampunk and dark themes, maybe you should check artworks for "Resonance of Fate" game (just google it). If she's into dark kind of stuff, you can try taking something from cyberpunk, trying "Ergo Proxy", "Cowboy Bebop" or "Trigun". Maybe also "Claymore" (dark fantasy). If you want to hear an advice (a lot of people doesn't :P) - draw as much objects/fruits/nature as you can (worked for me, got better with shapes and shading).

You have reminded me that I was looking for dark steampunk anime over a year ago! Thanks alot!

Oh, and you'd ask about favourite anime. Well, "Cowboy Bebop" and "Samurai Champloo" ^^

Cool, I totally will google it and i am glad that i could help you remember from awhile back :P
i love to draw flowers/ leaves/trees as well :) i tried drawing fruit but...but i will try again! Thanks tremendously for the advice! "Cowboy Bebop" sounds like it ould be funny *snicker* and i will also check out "Samurai Champloo" Thanks alot.
