I would love to be able to get my new episode notifications in a simple per user rss feed instead of the mail, because I dont read mails on my notebook and so I could just load the feed in my reader.

/agree with overfiend

But would be neat if those rss where from the currently airing anime forums.
The currently notification takes some time to send emails, and must require bandwidht right?
What about a rss for currently airing forums? It don't take more than 5 hours from released to someone to make the topic, and that would increase the discussion in topics too, i think.

It's just a idea, because the currently notifications seems a little... useless?
i received episode 18 before 17 in the notifications... lmao
i think that a rss would'nt have that kind of problems.

edit: hope that you can understand what i tryed to explain >_>; my english su***.

MAL doesn't actually provide any way to "check" released episodes or stuff like that. We crawl Baka-Updates for releases and then "compare" their RSS feeder to our information.

The only way we could implement something like this would be for people to start "logging" episodes releases. Ex: When [DB] releases episode 135 of Bleach, someone manually goes into the database and says "blah blah was released".
