| Now I usually wait until after the weekend for the next manga of the fortnight but as the first day of Autumn I decided to make an exception. Now, excluding, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, most of the manga up here have been favorites in some way so I felt its time for a manga that is only not one of my favorite but perhaps one of my most disliked not only BL but manga in general. Normally I like the work by Hiiro Reiichi but Hyper Love Power is an extreme exception.  Check the MAL Synopsis: Two races of half-bird half-human creatures live undetected among humans: The cockatrices and the basilisks. Kozakura Sora is a young cockatrice who switches schools for his assigned task of keeping an eye on Karasuma Rin, a basilisk and student council president. However, on his first day Sora flies into Karasuma Kai, Rin's younger brother. A fateful meeting that changes everything... (Source: B-U) |

| 3/5: Meh The only reason I didn't give it a 2/5 was because I like the two race, forbidden love theme (as well as animals in heat) <--something about that is a turn on. Otherwise: It had ridiculous sex scenes (which was way over dramatized), horrible character personalities, and was just all-in-all completely predictable and lame. That's all I really have to say about this. :( |
