I doubt it, some people have said there was some filler in s3. Tho I dont read the manga so I wouldn't be able to tell you what was filler and what was not.

All I know is what crunchyroll said: Most are attributing this to the new seasons being a "split two course series," a series that is originally planned to be two seasons with a break between the seasons. Other series that had this format were The World God Only Knows (Kaminomizo Shiru Sekai) and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi.

Im not sure on the chapter, but they are going to be at the end of book 8. That one just came out. Im reading these at the library(in AMERICA)... so they have plenty of material since its still publishing, I think.

Thanks for the info. So the end of volume 8 is chapter 31. There's 55 chapters in Japan right now. So they could even do a 5th season if they wanted to?

I guess Brains Base could have done S3 sooner if they had wanted to.

That is why I was so sure we would get another season, they waited long enough for enough material for two thirteen episode seasons.

In fact...there is so much un-animated original material that I am scared things might have to be cut down or cut out.

Agree...I can never get enough of my sweet Nyanko-sensei be they fillers or whatever. ^^ I look forward to season four. ^^

I've been reading the manga up to chapter 44 (most current release by the only scanlating group Transcendence) and they've basically been jumping around in the last 10-15 chapters. There is hardly any filler in season 3. The finale was an omake in one of the volumes (36.5 iirc)

I am really worried they will run out of content before Season 4 starts. It could just be that there's a lot more content in volume 12 that we just haven't seen yet, that's what I hope anyways.

Edit: Also, even if there is a season 5, they are moving way too fast. I'll be at least a year after S4 before we see it, if not longer.

Ah really? I'd read there were only 12 volumes (wikipedia I think), I'm guessing that's published volumes not anything that was published recently. Definitely looking forward to next season then.

There is way more than what's been scanalated. There are plenty of main stories that I had expected to see this season, plenty for another, especially with a three month gap.

This. I've read up to 54 and I haven't actually checked for updates in a few months. Anyone who has said there were fillers just hasn't read past 44 since they used one or two of the shorter stories.

For anyone who's interested, chapters that have yet to be animated are:

Ch32~36
Ch39~41
Ch44~47
Ch49~56 (55+56 are the Nishimura and Kitamoto special chapters, so they might not actually have those numbers)

Personally I'm hoping they animate the Natsume goes home chapters, the Tanuma and Natori meeting chapters, and the Natsume working with Matoba chapters.
