I was thinking, maybe you should shut down the website, just get a certain day or days
where the site is shut down so that you guys can work with the problems in peace, let
people know the date and time it starts so that they're prepared for the maintenance,
post it on like the main page or something.

I'm sure people won't mind, as long as it accomplishes some type of improvement with the current problems on this site.

Just incase:
sorry if this was already suggested, I followed the rules by searching and didn't find this suggestion or something similar.

Maintenance is to implement improvements, and I assure you that when there is an improvement that would require the site to be taken down it would be. Xinil pushes small updates and fixes occasionally and these usually do not require downtime, nor does downtime in itself actually contribute anything -- in fact it's the opposite. If you took the site down for a day, there would be a flood of traffic on the day after and the lag would be worse.

As I don't actually see any constructive idea here, and because this thread has trollbait written all over it.... *locked*

I am a banana.
