haven't come across any but you might like summer wars its the same maker and somehow the feeling it gave me was abit simmilar, its not as heavy as "toki" and you might find the start abit slow but i rly enjopyed watching it : )

So a slice of life or an anime movie with a happy ending of sorts?

I'd recommend Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle, just because they're great movies.
