| This show was able to create an entertaining conflict out of the creation of modern toilets in season 1, so i'm intrigued to see what'll happen in season 2. Hype! |

| isn't it peculiar that MAL has made a listing for this sequel without the 'news-byte' article like DatRandomDude always writes up for shows' announcements etc. ?? i dunno if i'd call S1 a "solid 6"... i've placed it at a (low) 8 because MAL won't let me use something like a very high 7 in the 0.8 to 0.9 range. it wasn't gorgeous like Jobless Reincarnation or Violet Evergarden... but not every studio can make something that doggone pretty with that many total episodes. even if they're only making a single TV Season. still S1 wasn't ugly or entirely average through the whole thing. yet the story was entertaining and for an RPG-like high fantasy isekai storyline it was surprisingly realistic and interesting. the slavery thing really DID work and not just for 'bustanut' moments like 'Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World'. the realism in Alchemist especially shone in how the MC had to fail again and again and again and practice again and again and again to learn things and work himself nearly to death 'to become more powerful'. instead of 'being handed' something OP or 'knowing stuffs' about 'the system' making the guy Op... or getting 'the cosmic MacGuffin (sometimes McGuffin)' key to everything thingie. sure, the 'timeleap' backwards to give the dude more time to prep like Batman ;> was a bit of a Deus ex machina plot device... but when the actual goddess does it... wouldn't that make it 'the real deal' ?? ;> instead of the author just 'throwing it out there' instead? i enjoyed S1 and i'm happily surprised a S2 is on the way. hopefully the MAL team will put that article together and tell us how they got this news. |

| Same as for other people, it was a '6' for me, so I can't exactly say I'm excited by the news, but I'll still be watching to see what happens to the characters. |
| It was a surprise indeed. It's not an amazing anime at all, but it was enjoyable. Being one isekai in an ocean of isekais, I didn't expect a second season. |

yup, so many solid 5 and solid 6 shows be getting sequel seasons here and there. it's not even a surprise anymore.
i was so damn surprised when i saw this though. if this was able to get a sequel, I wonder if Noble on the Brink of Ruin, Kinomi Master, and Middle Aged Online Shopper would get sequels someday too.
