| The second key visual for Anne Shirley was revealed on July 18, 2025, during a talk show at the Oscar Peterson Theatre, located in the Embassy of Canada, Tokyo. The event featured director Hiroshi Kawamata, Hikari Ota (as J.A. Harrison), and producer Yoshiko Nakayama. Nakayama explained that while the first visual captured the carefree nature of Anne and the scenic beauty of Avonlea, this new visual represents Anne’s strength, choices, and the life she builds. Anne holding an umbrella in the rain serves as a symbol of upcoming changes in her journey. The anime airs every Saturday at 18:25 on NHK E-Tele. From July 19, the story enters the "Redmond University Arc." |
