Only one movie?

To the people who've already read the LN, do you guys think this will become like Kara no Kyoukai which has like 8 movie entries or will one movie be enough to adapt the entire story?

Definitely more than 1 movie. If it ends where I think it does, it'll adapt like maybe a 3rd of the story. It's probably gonna be a trilogy imo.

1 movie will not be enough to even get close to adapting the story, the trailer showed to chapter 5, so the movie could end at chapter 5 or possibly chapter 6 (there’s 13 chapter, but they are fairly long).

We don’t know if it’s gonna be like KnK or if it’s gonna be like Heavens Feel. It just depends on how much they want to cut out of the adaptation.

There’s definitely gonna be more than 1. Makes no sense if they do, plus that’s not nearly enough to cover the visual novel. Honestly hope it’s like Kara No Kyoukai where they do as much films as needed rather than the stupid trilogy rule like they did with Heavens feel.

I doubt it's gonna be only one movie, but since we haven't got any news it doesn't matter really. It is impossible for just one movie, 3 could feel rushed too, they would need to do it really well if that so, I hope it's like KnK but I don't thenk they'll do it like that imo, it deserves it though, would be a game changing for the entire anime community. Let's see what do they announce on december.

The trailer showed content upto Night of the Witches II and there's still lot to cover up, so definitely 3≥ movies

Hope they give it as many movies as it needs. The trilogy concept did NOT work for HF (at least for me), it felt so rushed. Ufotable should have time to focus on this project once they finish Demon Slayer which should end around 2027, so maybe they go all out after that ends.

Based on what little we know like what the trailer shows like other have said, I think it will be 2 movies. I expect them to adapt only the base game sans any of the extra chapters because I don't really think the intention is to make it a full replacement for reading the vn but rather a supplement on top of it.
