Dungeon Meshi is doing a collab with a famous knife/cookware maker in Japan, Muranokajiya, to make official kitchen utensils, with more info found HERE.

And can be purchased HERE: (follow the instructions in the WorldShopping pop-up and type in dgm after closing the pop-up).

...the knife is already out of stock. Although it's a simple enough knife profile that I found similar-looking ones from Chuboknives. You can get higher-performance carbon steel knives over the branded stainless steel with black oxide coating from there (just don't cut anything acidic with carbon steel).

And for anybody curious about what specific knife Senshi uses...I found out that it wasn't a Santoku, but an "Usuba" knife...usually lumped together with Nakiri knives for some reason by most retailers, as those show up when you look for Usuba. The Usuba knife looks like halfway between a Santoku and a Nakiri.

Some possible trivia:
Why does Senshi use a distinctively Japanese-style knife? I theorize it's because Izganda is close to Shuro's homeland in the Eastern Archipelago of Wa, as shown when Shuro was first kicked out of the house by his father and Shuro stumbled around until he came to a stall selling stereotypical souvenir knickknacks like wooden swords and the like, one of which was emblazoned with the name Izganda (shown in the Delicious in Dungeon World Guide - The Adventurer's Bible). So it's possible merchant trade was going on between the two nations. Or it could just be the fact that the island the dungeon is located on is a melting pot of all sorts of people from around the world coming and traveling to, becoming adventurers diving into the dungeon.

man the yen has really crashed. It used to be equivalent to about 100x USD (which is also devalued) so the 22,000 yen knife would've been ~220 USD 4 or 5 years ago. Now it's like 141 USD.
