I honestly thought we wouldn't be getting a continuation, given how the father-son fight is the best stopping point for this series and the manga is still ongoing. I was especially sure after how they ended the final episode of last season with a big title card saying "The End", and then showed a scene of Retsu's press conference that happens like 40 chapters later, in the middle of the next manga series.

I'm very glad to see this, though. Musashi is one of the wildest and most fun characters in the series. I guess Baki just became too much of a cash cow for Netflix to resist.

It came out of nowhere!! Im so exicted!! Ive heared from some manga readers that THIS is their favorite arc (Along with pickle and Great Prison Battle arc and many others) Ive not read the manga but i'd like to see the animation of this part come to life i guess!! I cant wait for it!! Also is there any confirmed date? Searched everywhere..(T_T)
