This jin woo doesn't even look like his manhwa counterpart. Even the side characters look better than him. What's with this face? 🥲

honestly, he looks really different from his design in the manhwa. I mean it's not that bad and he looks good but not as much as it's manhwa counterpart. he's not giving off the Sung Jin-Woo energy he gives off in the manhwa.

The whole story was originally supposed to be centred around him grinding his way above S Rank and curing his mom but in the anime it looks he's getting that Yuji Itadori treatment(not that I hate it though). I like some of the changes except his generic overpowered isekai protagonist design.

Damn man, now that I see this I can definitely see the difference and it's huge. A1-pictures is one of my favourite studios, but this ain't it. Tbh, it's not even close to the Manhwa. Looks like a different character. The expression in Manhwa goes hard.

have you even seen jin woo in the manhwa. half of the reason solo Leveling manhwa is popular is because of jin woo's design. i posted the difference between the anime and manhwa designs in this forum. you could easily see the difference. not the same at all. not saying the anime is bad but manhwa design go way hard.

@AMAN2410 No. People liked his future design. The spoilery design. The design of HIM that would descent into spoiler territory.

His overall character design is literally the most basic civilian there is, and it always has been.

I always see people raving about the lines in Solo leveling and I'm like: really? this line may not be ugly, but it is very average. I see that the manhwa is prettier, but it's still not a wow level...
But looking at the anime, I feel sorry for the fans of this series because the characters look ugly AF compared to the manhwa XD
