ive had this on my list for ages ever since i started watching anime in 2014 and i cant seem to sit down and watch is worth because after a decade of procrastinating im not sure anymore

it's not a masterpiece but it's definitely worth watching (imho) if you're into vampire, action and adventure. the female MC is weak and the character development is slow but the mystery is worth it.

Honestly, I envy you that you can watch it without knowing the story, I really miss the feeling I got the first time, even though I've rewatched this anime several times and it's always amazing.
I love the emotions in this anime, which we rarely see in other anime, If you doubt because of the graphics and art ,I was really surprised at how well it worked, just watch it.

like the guy above said, it's a bit slow, but the development takes a while to get you hooked, once you are your in for a ride, I haven't seen it in a few years but I have rewatched it probably 5 if not more times. there's a bit that just about gets the tears out, it's wholesome, Action, violent and the art is pretty good for an older series, 10/10 recommend watching, or at least give it 6 episodes to get into or out of

Worth the watch through once imo. The 50 episodes can sometime drag, but the peaks are really good. Also the ending is really solid so I felt good after all was said and done.

It's absolutely worth it; it's underrated for sure. A favorite of mine.

I loved this anime but I will warn that it was also absolutely heartbreaking.

i own it on dvd. iwatched it on adult swim back in 2006 it was maybe the 5th anime id ever seen so it's very nostalgic for me. that being said the first half of the show I think is very good. 8/10 the second half dwindles down a bit for me but still a 7/10. def worth a watch in my opinion

I think it’s a really good anime and very underrated in the current anime landscape. The intros are great, the soundtrack is beautifully composed, and the plot is engaging. I’ve watched it in the English dub, and I think the voice actors were also well cast. It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but still a very good show and worth watching for those that enjoy the genres it encompasses. All in all, I would definitely recommend it and feel like it’s a hidden gem nowadays 💯
