| Stinky tofu attack! lol Lu Shu was pretty cool when he controlled the dagger and pierced the guy. It was painful seeing him get beaten up though. Nie Ting came out of hiding and beat up the bad guys. The hug between Lu Shu and Xiao Yu was so cute. Overall I enjoyed this season, hope there will be a season 3 soon :) |
| Too bad it ended with a total deus ex. If you wanna have Nie Ting pop out and spoil the fun, it has to at least be demonstrated that he's been there watching all along. |
| Maybe having Nie Ting pop up was a deus ex move, specially after showing us how strong he is in the intro of episode 1 which was crazy good, i think it was a welcome thing, i really like the fact they didn't power up Lu Shu (again in the same season) at the last moment but instead it was legit an overwhelming enemy he couldn't defeat himself, the desperation in his eyes and stuff was real. Also, production quality finally catched up even if it had some weird moments like weird mouth movments with oddly realistic faces (that one time when Lu Shu is screaming xd) but overall it was really good. Expected for a last episode but still a great thing. It ended really nicely and I even laughed at the last joke. The episode was great and not only that even if the season had some weak points it opened great, had a middle point that dragged for a bit and the nthe whole final arc ended well and was executed well which made it really enjoyable. I may be giving this too high of a number but thats an 8 for me. It isn't more cus it was still a bit confusting as last season (minus the bad pacing) |
