Thoughts on the series (so far)

I've recently started watching the anime (the first 7 episodes adapted from the first volume of the manga), and its biggest strength is easily Koro-sensei himself (I'm a sucker for the awesome teacher trope). My main problem however is that none of the students get enough time to develop. Sure, Nagisa is supposed to be the main character, but there are other students as well. Like in the second episode how the plot changes from being about Sugino to the rest of the class.

Does this problem get nullified as the series progresses? The reason I'm asking is because the first episode (or 7) of a TV show should tell you what its like.

You’ll definitely have to keep watching to learn more on the problem you have. Like said previously it does take its time (for being only 2 seasons) but it is well worth it to the very end in my opinion.

i really enjoyed this anime. the concept was something i wasn’t too familiar with and so i kinda went into it blind. after season 1 i found i really gained interest in season 2. you are in for a great ride :-)

Well the show has a large cast so not all of them can get the spotlight like Nagisa or Karma
but they all have their little moments.
the main series also didn't adapt some chapters that featured some of the other students so u can watch them in an ONA between S1 and S2

This anime didn’t really interest me. Something about it just felt generic and plain. When I finished the first season, I was so glad that it was over.

Well i dropped this anime when i finished first season. But a lot of comments says i should give it a try the second season. And now i kinda interested in it. Yea some anime takes time to get better.

I love this anime very much. Koro Sensei is an excellent mentor. Not all students have the same development but you can see awesome growth moments for the majority of them, plus the show can be fun and tense at the same time and I believe it's worth the watch.

Kenjutsu is the art of killing...no matter how you sugarcoat it!

it's overrated to be honest, the plot is mid and it was boring and long. The characters are not special. the ending was clean but nothing insane

I liked it. It takes time and the beginning is slow but once you get into it it’s really good and fun. Character development was great too.

Most students aren't really developed, but they still have a pretty consistent personality. But the main characters get some pretty good development.
