I've been wanting to watch this franchise for a long time, but considering there's a bunch of different animes (this one, sunshine, nijigasaki and superstar) I don't know what is the watch order for it. I heard Nijigasaki and Superstar are spin-offs but I don't know if it's true. I'd like to know the chronological watch order to start watching this franchise.

I'm a bit confused about Nijigasaki being considered a spin-off timeline. Does it mean it has no relation with the other Love Live series? Can I watch it without the main timeline?

just watch in order the school idol project and sunshine, after that you can choose niji or superstar (I suggest u watch superstar).

Yes, it’s now closed but it was a mobile game at first (the anime changed a lot of stuff)

This is a guilty pleasure of mine, but I would start with the original then the OVA and I think there are movies for the 2013 version then love live sunshine there’s a movie for that too and then the other stuff which I didn’t care to bother, watching them I only stopped at love lives sunshine because the 2013 version and sunshine are pretty

Alright, I started watching Love Live and I gotta say I wasn't expecting CGI but it's good. Also, this is already one of the best animes I've ever seen! This is peak.
Also, now I get why some people say it's a guilty pleasure, LOL.
