Hello, everyone. It's the most wonderful time of the year, and now that 2023 is coming to a close, it's finally time for us to announce...

For those who don't know, Secret Santa is a fun little tradition where everyone who participates is randomly assigned to give a gift to another participant, but no one knows who they're receiving the gift from (hence, secret).
This is the 8th year that we are celebrating the holidays with this activity, so let's make it better than ever with as many people participating as we can!

- December 12th: Sign up period ends
- December 13th: Santas are assigned
- December 20th: Due date for the gift
- December 21st: Revealing of the Santas at Christmas party hosted by Delikado
𝔾𝕚𝕗𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘:
We'll set you up as someone's Secret Santa by December 13th, and then you'll need to send us your gift by December 20th so that we can deliver it to your recipient before the big reveal. Send your gifts to either rlavus or complexities, and we'll make sure it gets to the right person. At our Christmas party on December 21st, we'll reveal to everyone who your Secret Santa is so that you can thank them personally (don't worry if you can't make it to the party, the reveal list will be posted afterward). Make sure you keep who you're Santa for a secret until then!
As far as gifts go, you shouldn't purchase anything (AKA: do not spend real money). We're thrifty low-budgeters here at Rewrite, and besides—we all know that it's the thought that counts. It could be a short story, a piece of original artwork, a fancy designed card, anime or manga recommendations... the possibilities are endless! Just make sure that the content is original or at least credited.
Also, please be respectful when making your gifts. If the gift you send breaks any of our organization's rules (i.e. is hateful or harassment), then your gift will not be sent, and you will face the appropriate consequences. Just exercise general decency, and you'll be good!
Looking forward to everyone's participation and a wonderful Christmas season! |
