What is your favourite AoT large scale action focused set piece?

Return to Shiganshina. It couldn’t have been done better. But a close second for me is Reiner, Annie, Armin and Mikasa vs Floch and Yeagerists

Return to Shinganshina for obvious reasons followed closely by the 2nd Battle of Shinganshina from Season 4 Part 2.

I honestly feel like the second Battle of Shinganshina is a bit underrated because I don't see people talk about it a lot.

People talk about Return to Shinganshina and Attack on Liberio way more.

For me the Second Battle of Shinganshina had nearly everything.

The Titan fights were great and huge. Eren was going full ham. We had technically 6 Titans fighting at the same time.

All the while there was a large scale conventional war going on.

The tension was on. Beast Titans entry was great. Everyone was desperate. The entire Military chain of command of Paradis turned into Titans and it all culminated into perhaps the most high tension out of left field moment in AoT.

Those first 3 episodes of S4P2 were absolutely epic followed by 2 of the best individual episodes of AoT in my opinion.

Marley war or war for paradise are best in my opinion even when animation was quite weak in comparison with others

battle of shiganshina and battle of heaven and earth are still 10/10

I count the final episode as multiple episodes because of its length so that yeah

Cuz it's literally scale we're talking about and that tops them all

Liberio was the best because that’s the first time ever Paradis got to take the fight to Marley’s ground. For once they weren’t on the defensive, that makes it pretty meaningful. And having civilians running around and dying makes it look more serious. This battle is important since they are showing their strength by attacking the capital (I think) of the strongest nation in the world. And I didn’t even talk about the fight there being as epic as it is.

i would have said Liberio but the anime sadly wasn't able to properly adapt the scale and action due to the messed up production issues behind the scenes
so i would go for the Rts and closely followed by the shighanshina fight from S4 PT 2
