Just like what I mentioned in the title "Where to start reading the manga after the anime?".

I was just wondering if I should go read the manga since it appears the anime has no more hope to havea 3rd season or concluding it.

So I just think to just get it done with the manga? Where do I start then after season 2?

Dont care much of any skipped chapters or scenes.

It's been a while since I've read nisekoi but I think s2 ended somewhere near chapter 105. There was a bit of skipped content between 50-100 if I remember correctly.

Just checked and the first half of s2ep12 is based on ch 106 but after skimming through like 10 chapters or so I think the second half might've been anime original just so it has a somewhat proper conclusion (as far as the season goes, not the overall story)

I'm still the type to read everything from the beginning because of changes in the anime (cut content, anime original content, changes in how a situation is presented, etc.) but there you go

I remember checking it for myself a few years ago when I wanted to read the manga, and I remember finding out the furthest they've gone is volume 12 (it seems correct considering other people are talking about chapters 105-106, which are indeed in volume 12).
So yeah, I would say you can start at chapter 107.

I would personally recommend to start from the beginning considering they did not adapt every chapter (far from that) and the chronology of some events is modified, if I remember correctly (I have read the manga multiple times, but saw the anime only once).

I would start from the beginning because there are a lot of plot points that are skipped over to the point where the actual story doesn’t make a lot of sense after only having watched the show
