lacklustre songs

as an average enjoyer of idol animes, the songs in this are just plain boring, the song track is catchy and all but the lyrics are so surface level, with lyrics like ‘wo o wow oh o oh, yay yay yay yay’ ‘ ‘でもね ABCDEFG, どれもが自分’, i don’t expect a masterpiece but this is aikatsu we’re talking about, why are the songs so uninspiring. it’s fine if you enjoy the songs but it just feels lacklustre compared to past generations.

also i think the second half of the songs are just better, but they only use the short version in anime so you never hear them anyways ໒꒰ྀིっ˕ -｡꒱ྀི১
