I'm only 6 episodes into this, but I love it so much, I heard there should be a s2? Does it have a satisfactory ending or do I have to carry on the manga when it's finished?

Nah, it's only that one season since the OG novel it came from was fairly short. I never finished the whole anime but maybe one day i'll actually pick it up again because it's pretty good.
