So are we going to talk about how this is probably going to be the first Isekai anime to finish its story?

There are only three Light Novel volumes. We covered the entire first volume in four episodes. That means the remaining episodes should cover the other two remaining volumes, meaning this is going to be the first Isekai anime to adapt all of its source material. The only other show I could think of that might have come close would be SAO, but the SAO LN is still on-going last I checked.

Just sort of baffles me that throughout all of this Isekai trend, the first anime to fully adapt its story is the fucking Vending Machine Isekai and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I don’t think it’ll be finished. The LN is labeled as hiatus, and the manga is still on going. I haven’t read either, so I could be wrong.

My first thought is "what story?".
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

I mean the last volume was released in 2017 so unless we’re about to have the comeback of the decade I’m considering it finished lol but I’m willing to be pleasantly surprised

I guess they’re releasing “revised” volumes this year though? Idk what that’s about but I just saw it when I confirmed the dates so maybe I will be swiftly proven wrong

Peak story. The greatest story ever told. A tale that will be passed down for generations to come. A story that encapsulates everything the human race has achieved up until now. A story that paves the way for the future of our entire species.

Zero no Tsukaima DID finish.

Whether you like that they fucked the entire adaptation or not, it did end.

I don't think the LN is even finished. Yes, there are only a few volumes of books being published till 2017. But that's only just the chapters / books that have been printed. The writer did continued the novel further online without publishing it to its book forms. Don't remember what exactly happened back in 2017, but the writer and his publisher did have something going wrong that cause the whole thing stopped being publishing any further.

2017 is when both writer and artist started working on KonoSuba Dust Spin-Off. But I don't know if that is the cause or the result.

LN is cancelled but I get the feeling the manga will go past where the LN stopped if it hasn't already.  And since the anime is based on the anime and not the LN you do the math

Well, just cause it hasn’t had a new story in a while doesn’t mean it’s finished. The LN could have ended in the middle of an arc.

Plus, what does finished mean for an anime like this?
