Idk If I've just become more uhinged in the past few years but in just one volume of Vagabond there have been so many meme moments.

I was cackling like a hyena at all these scenes from Volume 1:

And just anything to do with Otsuu. Her presence is always a joy to see.

Tbh it is...it somehow let us feel like we're some time travelers, seeing musashi saying he wants to be invisible under the sun but we know what happens to him.... Kinda yea..

For me, the original source novel, Musashi, is actually even funnier in its wiriting style than this (re)interpretation. Unfortunately, not many seem to have read it - even though Kodansha (Dark Horse) did a pretty good job translating it.

Buy stuff, or buy at least your favorites if you can afford it - Don't be lame.

MAL is a far cry from being my main literature site, that's why I won't be doing mere single chapter updates anymore. Manga- aka Baka-Updates + 2 French ones are miles better and more thorough/complete + less restricting. The latter are perfectly suited for Manga/Light Novel/Books collectors such as myself. Less stressful/tiring this way. -g-

Heh? Why would you drop it? True, I do like the original book much more + the manga is more simple in structure and a bit underwhelming at times in comparison - yet despite the amount of volumes, a quick and fun read. Accept both different kinds of literature - unless you don't have much spare time. -g-

Agreed. Many Panels are hilarious af to look at on a reread.
I feel like for me, it’s because due to already knowing the overall story and major plot points, it allows me to focus on all the other things, including funny flags and foreshadowing.
