| I am fairly new to anime, but I have found I really enjoy the whole slice of life genre. I also like some humor and comedy in them, not that I don't mind tear jerkers but laughing is better. Some of my favorite slice of life animes would have to be Aishiteruze Baby, Azumanga Daioh, Ichigo Mashimaro and both Minami-ke seasons. Are there anymore out there like those? Please look at my play list. I would love to hear any sugestions. |

| Aria Probably won't find any better than this as far as slice of life goes, and there's a ton of it to watch. Bartender This one's hit or miss. I liked it. Honey & Clover H&C is certainly a good choice, but while it's relaxing and comedic at times, there is plenty of drama as well (especially in the second season). Lamune Extremely laid-back romance series. Shinigami no Ballad Short, but good. Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou Also unfortunately short, but very good. As for 5cm, it's not really something I'd want to watch if I was in the mood for a "slice of life," lol. It's extremely good, but heavy on the drama. |

| Honey and Clover. its slice of life, romance/drama, and humor. nodame cantabile. slice of life and humor mixed in with music and stuff. a must-see for any musician or fan of classical music, but its good regardless. Toki wo Kakeru shoujo is a really good slice-of-life movie. while it does have the sci-fi twist to it, it really stays slice-of-life most of the time. it's really good. |
| I'm watching NANA right now and it's pretty decent so far(on episode 11 of 47) for a slice of life. I really liked season 1 of Honey and Clover, very much slice of life and with plenty of comedy and humor by Morita! Genshiken was alright to me, but it had its boring moments. And Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo was a very good movie, very enjoyable, I believe it's the top movie on MAL. |

| Toki wo Kakeru shoujo/The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Until now, I'm still not over this movie. Slice-of-life, drama, a bit of comedy and sci-fi. highly recommended .. one of my favs ^^ |
