I've also made this thread on the other one. The people on the forum have tricked me with the reverse watch order. As a result I couldn't enjoy the story properly. As proof, there was a cliffhanger on 'Boku' and then they made 'Fin' on 'Kimi'.
Absolutely not, watching Kimi after Boku will feel like a prequel. Kimi has a post credit scene from which Boku starts and at the end of the movie Boku shows what happens after that post credit scene. So I think thats the proper ending for this duo.
Boku is supposed to be Kimi's maximum payoff, if you watch the other way around the emotional impact of the last part of Boku will be completely lost.
@BaronBrixius tanks for this. I agree everyone should go Pink then Blue. Blue makes way more sense but the final is way better. In the end Pink explain one love and Blue explains the other love but life for the 3 main characters is better in blue so is better to finish with Blue as the final ending. going Pink after Blue is like watching an OVA that will explain some parts of the end.
In all honesty, I don't remember in what order I watched them. lol
It was an interesting experiment, same story told twice from different perspectives. But after finishing them, I remember thinking that it might've been better as a whole film, like both repeat some scenes and the thread could be maintained with some sharp editting, but that's clearly not the aim here.
