How did you feel while watching this and what impression did the anime leave on you?

I saw it years ago and it captivated me, but now I'm watching it again, I'm in episode 5 and I see more bad things than good, discrete designs, dull plot, the lack of budget is too noticeable... no wonder they didn't give it a second season
