Really enjoyed this one. A unique comedy for me, the humour felt real and the characters were easy to relate to. Was creasing at a lot of this!

Any more like this where the theme perhaps revolves around acting/drama/theatre/showbiz? I feel like that I haven't seen any with that theme and I want to watching. The show doesn't have to be a comedy either btw

"Kageki shoujo!" is about a theater school. it's lovely.
"Bokutachi no remake" is about students who create videogames, and short films. I really like this topic.
"Keep your hands off Eizouken!" -animation and short films too. LOVE.

If you’re looking for a show with a unique sense of humour I’d say Asobi Asobase but it doesn’t revolve around showbiz

If I recall correctly, one of the major plot points of the first season of Clannad revolved around a drama club.

Eizouken have some showbiz part. especially with film making or anime making.

But for your reference you could just browse anime with "performing arts" theme.

Yeah didn't realise it then. Just done that now and I've found some good ones.

Cheers

Dakaichi revolves around show-biz, but it's a yaoi/BL, so there is romance involved. I personally loved it, and it wasn't too raunchy compared to the manga, which is more graphic.

Hope this helps!

Definitely try Wave, listen to me!

It's about a wonderfully fucked-up woman stumbling into the radio business be sheer accident (and some sketchy coercion). Gives off a similarly or even more adult vibe. It's not a comedy, but it has lots of comedy in it - and it's fucking hilarious. And, corny as it sounds, you can really feel the love for radio from it. It's crazy good, seriously.

You won't regret it. And if you do, I don't care :D It's still an absolute gem.
