How should I go about reading the manga and watching the anime?

So I heard the anime starts at chapter 70 something in the manga. Is the anime a faithful adaptation of whatever arc it covers? I wanna read the manga up till whatever chapter the anime starts on and then continue the manga once the anime ends. Does anyone know what chapters I’ll have to read to do that?

Anime is kinda fucked up actually and it's very confusing. I think you should the read the manga until you finish it and then warch the anime

And they also use flashback card in this anime which is why anime is fucked when compared to manga. You will understand if you read manga first and then you probably would understand what i am trying to say and one more thing the animation is freaking awful, its like uncensored 1990s hentai animation no shit😂

You must read the manga from the beginning, is a masterpiece, way better than the anime, cause the anime adapt just the middle part without the ending and all the backstory of both MC

that’s interesting, i really really enjoyed the anime, does this mean i would absolutely love the manga aswell?

You will not regret the manga is an absolute masterpiece, if you liked the anime, u will love the manga.
Just imagine that you got more than a 100 chapters with all the story after the anime ending.
And 70 chapters with all what happen before the anime that give sense to the relationship of both MC

Alright. After reading the manga I found my answer. So I’m leaving this here for anyone who wants to start off with the manga, watch the anime, and then continue with the manga.

Start with the manga and read up to chapter 78 > Watch the first episode of the anime OVA > Watch the anime up till episode 7 > start the manga again with chapter 100.

The anime technically ends at chapter 142 but the last 5 episodes are basically 42 chapters crammed into 5 episodes so it’s up to you if you want to watch it all the way through.

Also turns out I’ve actually seen this anime years ago around when it came out I just completely forgot about it. It was some surreal deja vu. I unlocked some dormant memories
