| Took them long enough to add a chapter count. Probably should have done that a while ago, it looks like another site lists 301 chapters, which makes much more sense aligning with the chapter counts in the forums here. https://anilist.co/manga/85566/Koi-to-Uso |

It's because MAL use the infos of the official Volumes version (Which is always the definitive edition of the work) , but since most peoples read Mangas digitally (and most of the time , illegally) , it creates a gap in the count. It's nothing new , and you can very often see peoples creating discussions threads for Web Novels chapters in the Light Novel entries , or threads extremely far in the chapter count of Manhwas because pirate sites splitted the chapters in halves or things like that. There is also always peoples that ask why the count says X chapters when the X - 5 chapter is marked as "the end" on the pirate site they are reading it on... Welp , to me it seems logical to use the official (legally) definitive count , but it's not how most peoples reads Mangas nowadays. Also , MAL puts up the final count only when the last Volume has been released , and that someone could confirm the count. So Koi to Uso got the count between January & October 2022 , depending on when someone was willing to buy the last Volume and confirm the count. |

| Makes sense, just surprised its been complete for almost a year and it was only recently updated to the appropriate chapter count. |
