Speculation based on episode count

MAL has 28 episodes for this season, but judging by the pace they are currently going at it feels like there is an extra one or two episodes of content they could potentially add. They have been mostly faithful to the VN so far, but personally I would like an anime original ending. Is there any information confirming that?

Well it has happened that anime of visual novels get their own endings. 2 key works as example: Rewrite and Planetarian

Well it has happened that anime of visual novels get their own endings. 2 key works as example: Rewrite and Planetarian

never saw those tbh but I'm familiar with key"s little busters ex and Kanon along with bits of the rewrite VN.
