Just rewatched the fight and realized the two instructors interfered in the fight on the final attack. Even if Deku wouldn’t have one I don’t think it’s fair to rule in Todoroki’s favor after they stepped in.

I think the Sports Festival arc was a way to illustrate the darker sides of the heroes' side. Todoroki winning despite interference illustrated the hierarchy where a pro's son won over a random student. It's one of the many incidents in the arc that sets us up for the following arc

yeah that was kinda bullshit. I mean I see why they interfered but to give someone the win after that wasn't fair imo. They should've called a draw and had them rematch the next day or so.

hierarchy? wasn't deku thrown out of the ring and todoroki still inside,so,he won the match?

That doesn't matter because after a match is stopped by the instructors themselves, it is supposed to be postponed.

Just like how a goal doesn't count after the refree stopped the match for some reasons.

Deku was out of the ring first, and was out cold. Besides that, even if Deku won, he would have to forfeitthe the next match because of his injuries.

The teachers did nothing wrong, as they were trying to reduce damage.

I think you're over think this one. Besides being out of the ring, Deku was pasted out and wouldn't be able to fight anymore. While Todoroki was still in the ring and could keep going. The teachers only interfered because they were trying to reduce the damage of their attacks.

The match was stopped because Deku was out of the ring and past out. He lost.
