For me they are equal and sadly no other comedy anime I have come across is even in the same universe as these two.

Gintama is way funnier but it is a bit unfair. I have not read the manga of Grand Blue but i have seen over 350 episodes of Gintama. Grand Blue is funnier in the first 12 episodes than Gintama is in the first 12 episodes. Maybe Grand Blue gets funnier later on.

no but it's good. There is no need to compare the two since Gintama has hundreds of episode and this has 24. Just watch both and compare

Gintama has many other purposes in the show apart from comedy. But this is has only one thing - comedy. I don't think we should compare both.

Gitama ain't even funny. Gintama is boring and most of the eps feel like filler. Only one scene made me laugh and that was the one with Gintoki and his drink. While Grand Blue is making me laugh at loud on each episode

If we comparing only the anime, then Gintama is way more funnier and if the manga, then Grand Blue.
