Sonic X should be added to the Toonami lineup with a new uncut dub. Yes, I'm serious.

After all, Sonic did just celebrate his birthday, Origins just got released, and Sonic Frontiers and Sonic Prime will be coming out soon. Plus Jason DeMarco, the head of Toonami, has stated that we will be getting a lot of older anime on Toonami. Sonic X will also be turning 20 years old next year, too. This is a perfect time for Toonami to air it.

True, it may be a bit kiddy for Toonami, since it is on Adult Swim, so maybe DeMarco could ask Cartoon Network if they wanted to air it. Maybe in a daytime Toonami block with anime aimed at the younger crowd.
Plus, TMS already have a good relationship with the Toonami crew. After all, they are airing the new Lupin III series right now.
Plus, a lot of the kids who grew up with this show are now adults. Gen Z nostalgia is in, so maybe Toonami can capitalize on that with this.
Is it crazy? A bit. Is it possible? Yes, definitely.

sonic underground too would be amazing.
I dont think theres any way to watch that without a dvd, where as sonic x is on netflix

Fair enough, I didnt think about that.
If they were going to rerelease old sonic stuff though toonami or not I feel like they'd do underground aswell

Problem 1 is Tonnami, and Cartoon Netwrok. Toonami is barely getting by, as anime is getting harder to air on TV. As for CN, let me ask you when was the last time CN aired anime on that channel that wasn't related to Toonami? Most likely a long time. CN seems more interested in original work and not anime.

The next problem, I don't see them re-dubbing this one. Yes, some companies have re-dubbed animes before, but I don't see it happening for this one. As you said, it's over 20 years old. No one would be going to spend the money for that when there is already a dub.

Sonic may have a lot going on, but it doesn't mean it deserves it.
