| A transition volume. Last time we switched from one arc to another directly so I didn't expect one. I have been wanting more focus on Bartfault family for a while now and it was finally given to us. I like Nix and Dorothea. The trope of dense main character is taken to the extreme in the series internationally, and I still can't bring myself to like it. Leon would have been one of my favourite isekai protagonists if it was not for his abnormal density for romance. No idiot brigade this time around. I went from not being able to stand their presence back in volume 1 to missing them in volume 8 lol. Overall, the series has gotten pretty boring with the harem and characters losing all their personalities. Hope the next arc is better. Edit: It's not letting me edit the poll and title this time around. sigh... |

| That was quite an unexpected story. I’m glad to finally be out of the Alzer Republic, I think the series stayed there maybe one or two volumes too long and it was getting repetitive. I quite enjoyed this volume overall, I’m getting the feeling Clarice and Deirdre might be maybe joining the harem at some point. It was cool to get more of a look at Leon’s family, as most of them were pretty background in the past. I was kinda hoping the third otome game would be in a different kingdom again to keep things fresh. That said, maybe all the new students at the Academy, plus the recent changes in marriage rules will keep things interesting. |
