Summer Game Fest Out Of 10?

I didn't care for it other than like what 1-2 announcements/new trailers the rest was forgettable as usual. More Nightingale and otherwise Flashback 2 was cool though.

I always love how they want it to be this 'BIG' event but I have nothing to take away from it each time because of what is shown. No gameplay hook, no interest.

The pacing is sometimes good other times dragged out for some things we really don't need to be dragged out as much just have the staff tell us some other way if they have 2 hours worth of trailers to show.

I'd give it a 2/10 I guess.

Back to fifth/sixth gen game hunting for me though on wikipedia/metacritic/youtube and otherwise the games I already planned to get for this year for current consoles aka 2 (Klonoa collection and Grid Legends) as already got Kao 2022.

Didn't know about that, till I've got few minutes after premiere on youtube the Call of Duty MW2 trailer which reminded me that this fest exist. I don't know what was there, cause the CoD is already for me sold despite the huge Price.. x) (You need to pay for Ghost and Roach they ain't cheap).

Now just checking for quick what actually was shown in this summer fest and so far:
Witchfire looks good it reminds the good old days of Serious Sam Classics, DooM, Wolfenstein and other types of shooter games where you were put against multiple enemies at single time.
Metal Hellsinger gives me some sort of the copy of Doom vibes but if I've heard correct and seen if the System of the dawn brings such nice metal and the price will not be scary I might actually buy it x)

Everything else not worth of checking.
