Good volume. Gotta say, I like the new characters and dynamics more than the old cast. The idiot brigade's leader got some redemption this volume. That pretty much confirms he is going to end up with Marie.

Loic was an extremely hate-worthy character, so ig Mishima sensei succeeded in that regards. To be honest however, I hate Lelia way more than I hate Loic. Like your sister is getting abused at and you are not even looking at her like she is a person. The conversation between the AIs at the end was awesome lol.

The AIs may be bound to Leon, but they're very good at weaseling around him so long as they don't go against his "No mass deaths without my permission!' mandate.
I do wonder what the end result of all of their research will end up being.

Elf Mama can talk to the Sacred Trees.
The Elves are a result of Human experimentation during the last of the War...
And there may be a Human Military installation at the base of the Sacred Tree.
How much interaction did the two installations have?
Are the AIs aware that Elf Mama can interact with the Sacred Tree?

If the Sacred Tree is part of a Human long term plan, wonder what a DNA analysis would show for the Six Families?
Leon does show mixed heritage DNA according to Luxion... and bears a simply unreal resemblance to a deceased Heir to the Six Families.

Marie is growing on me.
Julius actually shows potential now.
Roland really needs to adjust his thinking; he can be replaced... and his wife may have a lot fewer qualms about doing so the more he acts as he's been doing. Mind you now, Leon does not want to be king... but is rather appreciative of the Queen.

Leon may be scum, but he's my kind of scum.

It's pretty clear that there were still more expansions to the game.
Marie knows some concerning them.
Lelia... will clearly be rather less helpful.
Leon, of course, died before any of them had been released.
