| This is a strong parallel present between both. But its not outright same, both are their are own thing. Though u can call it a antithesis attempt of adapting anj Both First and second season of megalo box had key characters inspired from characters of anj characters (but they are not exactly same). The setting upgraded to modern/tech, but major theme told was same or similar. but it is handled differently especially in season 2 . Anj is more bloody, cynical and egoistic approch with more developed characters, while nomad is extremly thematic with its self love and redemption approch. Tone wise, it maybe shows contrast like neo noir vs hard boiled (not referring to crime drama). |
